MI Khan refutes

Imphal, May 09 2011:
Md Aamir Ahmed aka Phajaba son of Saniyaddin of Lilong Sambrukhong who was arrested by a combined force of 28 Assam Rifles, Imphal West Commandos and 18 Sikh Regiments as appeared in local newspapers on May 8 and 9 is not related in any sort with MI Khan, said MI Khan today during a press meet held at his residence at Keirao Makting Mayai Leikai.
He said that he knew Md Aamir Ahmed was once a cadre of a PULF faction.
However he was not a cadre of his group of PULF until he resigned from the party
in May 2010 .
He even did not know if he was a cadre of a specific PULF group.
He was arrested by state police with Karnataka Police from Belguam district of Karnata and put him in Sajiwa Jail, Imphal till March 20 this year.
He even had formally announced that he had renounced his life as a leader of PULF and decided to spend his life in the service of the people of state since then, he said.
He also said that there is no faction of PULF under his name in the state at present.
He also appealed to the people of the state and security forces not to take him as an enemy of the Indian constitution.
