Army assists CDS candidates

Imphal, February 02 2018:
Twenty three students of Churachandpur district were provided with free coaching and mess by Khuga Battalion for Combined Defense Services Exam 2018 to enter as defense officers.
Civil teachers were also hired to ensure focused approach towards preparations, said a press release from PIB Defence Wing.
Assistance in terms of provision of books, stationery and periodicals were provided to each and every candidate.
The coaching was regularly monitored and periodic assessment including mock tests were conducted to identify weak areas.
This progressive training has made the aspirants confident while at the same time increased their chances of clearing the written exams, it said.
At the culmination of the coaching programme, a flag off ceremony was conducted by Khuga Career Counselling Cell today to inculcate the sense of belongingness.
The candidates were gifted stationery to assist them in their endeavour and also attended Gurudwara Sahib to seek blessings from the Almighty, it added.
