Four positive cases detected

Imphal, February 21 2021:
The State's number of Covid-19 active cases fell to 80 today with 8 persons recovering from the disease while only four tested positive in the last 24 hours, said COVID-19 Common Control Room.
The total number of positive cases has reached 29,237 while the number of recovered cases has touched 28,784 with a recovery rate of 98.45 percent.
With zero deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll due to Covid remains at 373 .
Meanwhile, the four persons who tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours include two females and two males, all civilians.
They tested positive at Covid testing facilities at Imphal East (1), JNIMS (1), Babina Diagnostics (1) and Churachandpur (1) .
Two of them are from Imphal West district while the remaining two belong to Churachandpur district.
On the other hand, the eight people who have recovered from COVID-19 include four persons who were under home isolation.
The remaining four have been discharged from COVID-19 Care Centres opened at RIMS (1), RD Wing (1) and JNIMS (2) .
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,237 including 25,805 civilians and 3,432 Central security personnel.
The total number of recovered cases include 28,784 civilians and 3,417 Central security personnel.
The number of active cases is 80 including 69 civilians and 11 Central security personnel, said the report issued by Additional Director (Health), Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
