Blooming Manipur adorns Ima Keithel

Imphal, November 01 2012:
As part of its pilot project, volunteers of European Manipuri Association have installed and planted 56 hanging baskets of flower plants at the historic Ema Keithel today under a community initiative christened Blooming Manipur.
The objective is to highlight how inexpensive beautiful flowers are and how responsible involvement of the local population can transform one of the most significant landmarks of Manipur.
Financial contributions made by EMA members and Belinda Morse have helped towards this community concept to materialise.

Author Belinda Morse have donated many books written by herself and the fund generated from selling the books have contributed towards sustenance of Blooming Manipur at Ema Keithel.
A similar community work have also been initiated at Chingmeirong Maning Leikai, conveyed a press release.
