Imphal, May 27 2024: Rakesh Naorem, social & cultural activist, has been conferred the prestigious Indian Humanitarian Award 2024, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to social development and humanitarian work.

The award is presented by Indian Book of Records, Hyderabad, Telangana in connection with the celebration of World Humanitarian Day 2024.The award was adjudicated by Dr GVNRSSS Varaprasad, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Dr Pavani, Adjudicator, Indian Book of Records.

Rakesh Naorem is a resident of Tentha Khongbal, Thoubal District.

He is the publicity secretary of Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur; general secretary of Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur and Ipak Film Production Manipur.
