RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camps

As a part of Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) 2024-25, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal successfully organised Swachhta Health Camps at Chanam Sandrok Awang Leikai in Imphal East and Phumlou Keiroi in Imphal West today.
According to a release issued by RIMS, a medical team including specialist doctors from various departments such as Eye, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT and Medicine provided free health examination & consultations to about 400 individuals during the camps.
Medicines were also distributed to the patients.
Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, Nodal Officer for SAP/Kaya Kalp2024-25, also attended the health camp and provided hands-on treatment to patients.
The initiative saw participation from doctors, staff and students, emphasizing the institute's ongoing dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations.
The event aligned with the overarching objectives of the Swachhta Action Plan to promote health, hygiene, and cleanliness within the community.
