AR conducts security meeting in Lailophai

Imphal, November 19 2024: Assam Rifles organised a security coordination meeting at Lailophai (near Sugnu Iron Bridge), Churachandpur district on November 16 to ensure peace and harmony.

The security meeting was attended by representatives from Assam Rifles, Manipur Police, BSF and ITBP to include DIG Kakching and Thoubal, Deputy Commissioner Kakching, Superintendent of Police Kakching & SI Churachandpur district.

The meeting aimed at strengthening the coordination among security agencies and ensuring peace and stability in the region, said IGAR South.

The meeting emphasised the need for enhanced vigilance, joint patrolling, and security measures to protect farmers to maintain peace in the fringe areas bordering Kakching, Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts.
