Khasim Vashum inaugurates Critical Airport Support Equipment

Imphal, November 08 2024: Transport Minister Khasim Vashum on Friday inaugurated Critical Airport Support Equipment at Imphal International Airport.

The ceremony marked the official commissioning of critical airport support equipment, including a runway sweeping machine, an ambulance, and a fire jeep.

This equipment will enhance the operational capabilities and safety measures of Imphal International Airport, contributing to improved services and safety standards for travelers and staff alike.

The inaugural function organised by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) was attended by Transport Secretary, Michael Achom; Transport Director, Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam and officials of Airport Authority.
