Imphal, August 05, 2010: Whereas the RPF has been prohibiting 'smuggling' and sale of foreign liquor (Indian made), the Government of Manipur gave permission for sale of such liquors.

On the other hand, country made liquor which is already being under strict vigilance of the AMADA and vigilant women groups are being seized by Assam Rifles and disposed off.

At the same time, foreign liquors are stockpiled and sold in their (security forces) own canteens.

As those liquors being sold in canteens have Government permission, neither AMADA nor other women groups can do anything.

Under such circumstances, it was ridiculous that the Chief Minister stated in the State Assembly that drug abuse and alcoholism bred serious crimes in the society, the RPF remarked.

The liberation movement of Manipur is acceptable to the principles of the United Nations and is a legitimate and justified one supported by the history of Manipur.

Despite the deceit and falsity of the Government of India and its agents, the revolutionary movement can never be defeated as long as the relationship between the people and revolutionaries remain in tact and aware of the facade put on by New Delhi and its agents.

Noting that Manipur is a small country inhabited by many communities, the RPF stated that real freedom can be achieved when the country is freed from the yoke of external forces and people of different communities live together cordially.

The present division and distrust among different communities is a result of Manipur being under New Delhi's rule.

This is a result of the Manipuri people falling into the malicious trap set by India with the intention to fragment the historical integrity of Manipur so that the alien rule can be sustained.

Questioning if there can be a winner, except India, when the people of Manipur hurl abuses and fight against each other, the outfit reminded "we are all one, irrespective of the hills or the valley; we are all brothers and sisters related by blood".

"Manipur presently reeling under the alien rule is for all of us.

RPF never accepts Manipur as a land of any single community.

It's the responsibility of all communities to bring back the sovereignty of Manipur", the outfit asserted.

Calling upon one and all to unite together and fight against the alien rule, the RPF said that the revolutionaries are only the vanguards.

The war of liberation is for the people of Manipur and for such a war, it demands a deep trust between the people and the revolutionaries, the RPF noted.

Stating that the alien rule has been constantly scheming to destroy this bond of trust and faith between the people and revolutionaries, it said, "we, all revolutionaries, should never indulge in activities incompatible to revolutionary ethics otherwise a vast chasm may develop between revolutionaries and people".

"We should never give such opportunity to the alien rule.

Let's us go on the true path following the legacy of revolutionary movements", the RPF called out to all fraternal revolutionary groups.
