First district-level written quiz competition held

Kakching, August 03 2025: In a bid to promote academic excellence and encourage competitive learning, the Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK) Kakching District Committee, organised the first ever district-level written quiz competition for students of Kakching district.

The competition held at Kha Manipur College covered various topics such as sports, current affairs, general knowledge, history, translation of old Manipuri texts and wordings, etc.

Speaking in this connection, Yengkhom Nelson, HRD secretary of SUK Kakching District Committee stated that the competition was held as SUK's academic campaign to nurture talent among students.

He added that the result of the competition will be declared on Aug 7, followed by a prize distribution ceremony on August 10.He also appealed to the people to extend their support to SUK in its future educational initiatives for the welfare of students.

The top three winners will receive cash awards and citations.

The first prize carries Rs 10,000, the second prize Rs 7,000, and the third prize Rs 5,000.In addition, seven participants will be presented with special consolation prizes.
