Consultation / review meeting held

Bishnupur, December 20 2019:
A one-day consultation cum review meeting of available schemes and services for malnourished and stunted children in high prevalent districts in North East was held on Thursday at Royal Academy of Law, Oinam.
The event was jointly organized by National Commission for Promotion of Child Rights (NCPCR), Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) and Seva Bharati Manipur.
On the occasion, Neeta Arambam, Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur District stated that the Government has created different schemes and services for the benefit of its citizens, but due to lack of awareness on its availability, many of the people could not enjoy the provisions.
She urged the people to spread awareness among the people without discrimination for the welfare of the public.
Sharatkumar Arambam, former Chairperson of Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Irengbam Jugeshwar, Principal of Royal Academy of Law attended the function as distinguished guests.
District level officers and employees of different departments also attended the meeting.
