Thoubal, April 27 2025: Members of Emoinu VLF Khoirom, an apex body of 5 Self Help Groups of Leirongthel Ningel Gram Panchayat ward no 3 & 4, of Wangjing Tentha CD Block along with ASHA workers conducted cleanliness drive at the surrounding areas of the Ward no 3 and 4 and at the road stretch of Yairipok Chandrakhong.

Such cleanliness drives were also held at Chandrakhong village and Phanjakhong village organised by the Nongpok Lamjingba VLF .

Speaking at the event Salam Kumar stated that the cleanliness drive was organised with the aim to instill the people on the impact of plastic waste to the environment and ecology.

He appealed to the people to maintain hygiene and promote cleanliness to save the environment from pollution.
