Lamlai MLA takes stock of Yaingangpokpi PS

Imphal, October 11 2024: Lamlai Assembly Constituency MLA Khongbantabam Ibomcha took stock of the prevailing infrastructure conditions and other requirements at Yaingangpokpi Police Station today.

While visiting Yaingangpokpi PS, Kh Ibomcha interacted with the Police personnel stationed there and assured them to take care of all their requirements.

He shared that since the conflict began on May 3, 2024, Police personnel of Yaingangpokpi PS with the support of Jat Regiment, BSF and other Central Security Forces have been playing a significant role in defending Meitei villages.

"Yaingangpokpi is a very sensitive area as it is located at the junction of Kangpokpi, Ukhrul and Imphal East districts", said the MLA while stressing on the importance of the Yaingangpokpi PS which is keeping a vigil over such a sensitive area.

The MLA assured that he will take necessary steps to provide necessary manpower and upgrade the infrastructure of Yaingangpokpi PS at the earliest.

Further, Kh Ibomcha urged all to stop the infighting and come together to end the conflict and restore peace & normalcy in Manipur at the earliest.
