Imphal, July 08 2024:
While India is a waging a "geopolitical war" with the ambition ofbecoming a superpower by way of "dividing and ruling" the WESEA region, Manipur is sinking without timely intervention and unity of the people, said CorCom.
Reiterating its claim that the Manipur crisis is a "design" of the Government of India, CorCom said India has been implementing divide and rule and appeasement policies in the WESEA region.
When it got the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, it gave away Kabaw Valley and renamed Mount Harriet as Mount Manipur to appease the people of Manipur.
India enforced the Armed Forces Special Powers Act 1958 and exploited the rights of the people of the State.
To cover this up, it named a warship after Imphal and is pretending to care for the people of Manipur, alleged CorCom.
The Look East Policy has been renamed Act East Policy and in the name of improving the economy of the WESEA region, India has signed bilateral and multilateral agreements with 10 countries.
All of these agreements recognise cooperation in dealing with militants/insurgencies.
However, to counter China economically and militarily, India has acted in connivance with the United States and is providing logistics and military aids to militants in Myanmar.
It is providing lethal aids including bombs and ammunition to the militants, alleged CorCom.
India's ambitious Kaladan Project which was taken up after an agreement in 2008 was scheduled to be completed in 2014.The project has now passed the 2023 deadline.
India's ambition is to use the Sittwe port to extend and exert its economic reach and presence in the region.
For achieving this ambition, India has made friends with the Chin, Kuki, Zo people of Myanmar, and is spewing hatred among the Meiteis, Nagas and the Chin, Kuki, Zo people for its gain, said CorCom.
Amid all these, there has emerged a concern that the United States of America, with its ambition to counter China's rise in the region, is strategically mulling the formation of "Zoungam" - State carved out of Myanmar, India and Bangladesh, added CorCom.
It further alleged that this campaign to form Zoungam is being carried out in the United States and Europe.
It alleged that the US is behind the formation of the North American Manipuri Tribal Association (NAMTA) and is carrying out the campaign.
While the same is being done in Europe, Lien Gangte, in association with pro Khalistanis in Canada is gathering funds.
Various western Christian organisations and NGOs are also engaged in an effort to show the conflict in Manipur as an anti-Christian war.
Knowingly, India is ignoring this.
RAW's endgame is to suppress the Meiteis and people of the WESEA region, alleged CorCom.
It asserted that India's sham effort to end the yearlong crisis is devoid of merit.
While it is not acting against the Kuki mafia whom they should act against first, it has cracked down against people who have come out to defend their motherland.
The objective is to eradicate the idea of Manipur, said CorCom.
The valley alone cannot survive without the hills and vice versa.
The peoples have been coexisting for ages.
Ching-Tam--the hills and the valley cannot be divided.
Infighting and enmity will not serve Manipur, it said.
Manipur is like a large ship that has been pierced with many holes.
The ship may not sink immediately, but without timely intervention and action, it may gradually sink further and get completely submerged.
People must be united to face all challenges that threaten the idea of Manipur, said CorCom.
