L Susindro attends foundation day of MDA in Delhi

Imphal, January 08 2023: The annual foundation day of Manipuri Diaspora Association (MDA), NCT Delhi was held today at Palam Vihar, Sector - 6, Dwarka, Delhi in the presence of L Susindro Meitei,' Minister of PHED and CAF&PD as the chief guest.

According to a statement, Ng Peni, vice president, MDA and RK Brajachand Singh, president, MDA graced the function as guest of honour and president respectively.

Reportedly a large number of Manipuris settled in and around Delhi and holding different positions in Government and private sectors attended the function.

As a part of the function, a floral tribute was offered to the deceased members/family of members of MDA.

A two-minute silence was also observed in their memory.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister expressed the need for Manipuris to unite and to work towards the welfare of Manipuri society.

In the statement, MDA also highlighted the necessity to build a dharamshala/guest house in Delhi at affordable rate for the benefit of general public of Manipur visiting NCR Delhi and appealed to the Manipur Government for the same.
