Imphal, September 04 2021: The Directorate of Health Services has directed all the private healthcare facilities to accept the COVID-19 RT PCR test reports done within 72 hours of coming for medical consultation.

An order was issued by the directorate in this regard and instructed the private hospitals to undertake retesting on in case the patient develops symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 infection.

The order added that the order was issued in response to various reports of private healthcare facilities advising patients seeking medical attendance for retesting for COVID-19 even after showing RT PCR negative reports.
