Two more arrested by Special Investigation Team

Churachandpur SP, Rakesh Balwan has said that SIT Churachandpur has managed to arrest two women agents and rescue three minor girls who were trafficked to Myanmar in the last 48 hours .
Speaking to media persons at his office chamber today, Rakesh Balwan said that the officers of SIT Churachandpur have been working tirelessly day and night, visiting the families of the victims for examining them and have so far recorded the statement of more than 16 prosecution witnesses .
Fiver more complaints have been received from parents of other victims whose whereabouts are still unknown.
Their reports have been incorporated in the present case of immoral human trafficking and all the reports are filed against the six accused including two more women agents who were recently arrested regarding the case, he added .
The SP further pointed out that SIT is working on the reports and in tandem with other Departments and organisations is trying find out the locations of the victims and to bring them back safely .
A message has also been sent to Tengnoupal SP to find out ways to arrest some of the accused who are still in Myanmar, he said .
Rakesh Balwan said that the SIT, with the assistance of Tengnoupal district police and Child Welfare Committee, Churachandpur, rescued three minor victims who were trafficked to Myanmar during the last 48 hours and arrested two agents from Churachandpur, identified as Irene Ngaihoih (35) d/o Tuolkhom of IB Tang Churachandpur and Nengneingai (25) w/o H Ginminthang Simte of Thingkhangphai village, Churachandpur .
The arrested individuals have been remanded to eight days police custody after they were produced before the Court.
The SP explained that till date, six accused have been arrested in connection with the case along with the seizure of many incriminating articles like Aadhaar cards and EPIC cards which were authenticated from the real owners.
He further stated that on September 2, Churachandpur district police along with Anti Human Trafficking Unit, Churachandpur, recused three girls including a minor, while they were being illegally transported upto Moreh, and arrested three agents in an Eeco van .
The arrested individuals were later identified as Esther Lalpianmawi (32) w/o Lalmuankima of Thingkhanphai, Lalgainhawami (32) w/o Lalbeisiena of Thingkhanphai and Lunkhosat Haokip (31) s/o Sonkhopao of Cannan Veng Churachandpur.
They were remanded to 10 days in police custody .
As a follow up action, Churachandpur police team arrested another agent Chingsuanching (37) w/o Kamsuankhai of Khominthang New Lamka Churachandpur, the same day.
