XLIV State Level Students' Science Seminar 2024 held

The XLIV State Level Students' Science Seminar 2024 for high school students of Class VIII to X was successfully held yesterday at the Conference Hall, Samagra Shiksha, Manipur.
The seminar focused on the topic "Artificial Intelligence: Potentials & Concerns" and witnessed enthusiastic participation from young minds across the State.
The event's first session was presided over by Tejmani Sinam, Associate Professor (M-Tech, Computer Science) and former Head of Department of Computer Science, Manipur University.
He also shared his insights on the significance of the seminar's theme.
Notably, Sruty Wangjam, a Class X student of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching, emerged as the best performer in the seminar.
She will represent Manipur at the National Level Students' Science Seminar 2024, scheduled to be held on November 26 at the National Science Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The seminar showcased the talent and innovative thinking of the State's youth and underscored the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of society.
