Imphal Smart City Limited celebrates World Photography Day

Imphal, August 19 2024: Imphal Smart City Limited today concluded a series of events to commemorate the World Photography Day at City Convention Center, Imphal.

The highlight of the day was a painting competition and an online photography competition, said a release issued by Imphal Smart City Limited.

It was graced by M Joy Singh, Commissioner MAHUD and Director, Imphal Smart City Ltd and Harikumar.

The painting competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 students across different schools in Imphal.

Divided into two categories, Class 3-6 with the theme "Coloring My Dream City: Imphal" and Class 7-10 with the theme "Imagining My Perfect City Imphal", young artists showcased their talent and creativity through their artwork.

The top three winners in each category were awarded cash prizes along with certificates.

Ten consolation prizes were also given away for each category to encourage young talent Concurrently, the result of the online photography competition themed, "An entire day" was announced on the social media handles of Imphal Smart City Limited.

The competition garnered significant interest, with participants capturing the essence of Imphal through their lenses.

The first, second, and third prize winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000, and Rs 2000 respectively, along with certificates.

Five consolation prizes of Rs 1000 each were also presented to recognize outstanding entries.
