AICC observer arrives in Imphal to oversee Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan in Kakching and Chandel

Kakching, February 19 2026:
As part of the nationwide Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan (SSA) launched by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), AICC Observer for Kakching and Chandel District Congress Committees, Prafulla Vinodrao Gudadhe arrived in Imphal on Wednesday to oversee organizational restructuring in the districts.
The Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, an organization rejuvenation campaign initiated on April 15, 2025, aims to strengthen the party at the grassroots level by restructuring district units and selecting new District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents.
The campaign is being guided by Congress president Malikaijun Kharge and leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
According to a notice issued by the Kakching District Congress Committee, a series of meetings and interactions have been scheduled in Kakching district as part of the observer's visit.
The SSA campaign is designed to address factionalism, identify dedicated grassroots workers and revitalize party structures.
As of January 26, 206, the campaign has been completed in 14 states with 525 new District Chiefs appointed.
AICC observers have been appointed in several states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Nagaland, Manipur and Meghalaya, to supervise the selection of DCC presidents and strengthen district-level leadership.
The Kakching DCC has urged all concerned members and leaders to extend full cooperation and coordinate as per the scheduled programme.
