DYO calls for participation

Senapati, September 06 2026:
The District Youth Officer (DYO), Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Senapati, P Rebecca Rangnamei, has invited the youth of Senapati district to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VB YLD) 2027, being organised as part of the National Youth Festival under the initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The programme aims to provide young people with a national platform to showcase their talent, leadership abilities and innovative ideas and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 .
The DYO informed that youth aged 15-29 years are eligible to participate in the programme, which features six tracks: Viksit Bharat Challenge, Cultural Track, Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Gause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge and Youth Parliament.
She further informed that the Viksit Bharat Challenge will be conducted under the North East Frontier Region (Purvodaya), with the theme "Act East, Connectivity & Cultural Leadership" for Manipur.
The challenge will progress through various stages, including the Viksit Bharat Quiz, Essay Challenge, District Championship, State VBYLD and National Round.
The National VBYLD is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from January 10-12, 2027 .
The Cultural Track will feature competitions in folk dance, folk song, painting, declamation and poetry writing, with participants progressing from the district level to the State and National levels.
The DYO encouraged all eligible youth of the district to actively participate in the programme and register through the MY Bharat portal (https://mybharat.gov.in.).
She clarified that youth who are already registered on the MY Bharat portal do not need to register again.
The initiative is aimed at providing young people with opportunities to express their ideas, develop leadership skills and contribute meaningfully to the nation-building process towards Viksit Bharat @2047 .
