Training for counting votes begins

Senapati, May 27 2024: In connection with Lok Sabha Election, 2024, training for counting of votes was conducted today at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Senapati under the supervision of S Lunguiba Thangal, Deputy District Election Officer (DEO)/Nodal Officer for Training.

Altogether, 84 officials comprising Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistance and Micro-observers attended the first round of training for counting of votes on two shifts.

The trainees were imparted knowledge on the process of counting and its rules, handling of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) and form filling up of Performa on the counting day.
