Imphal, August 25 2021: Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur, All Manipur Women Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) and All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) continue to trace the underprivileged and needy households worst hit by COVID-19 pandemic to help them.

Under such an initiative, rice were distributed to around 244 (two hundred and forty four) selected households at Imphal West and Kakching district yesterday.

The team also distributed AYUSH medicines to help in keeping the people healthy by boosting their immune, said a press release by Poirei Leimarol.

President of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur, Longjam Memchoubi, president of AMAWOVA, Yumkhaibam Kunjarani, advisor of AMUCO, Wairokpam Gonendro and president of AMUCO, Pheiroijam Nando Luwang were present in the distribution drive.

The rice were distributed to selective households at Liwa Lambi Bokul Makhong, Mayai Lambi area, Top Siphai Makha Leikai, Sekmaijin Thongam and Wabagai Thingel.
