Candidates warn of stir over pending result

Imphal, December 20 2024: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Office Assistant Recruitment 2021 has warned of launching an intense stir if the result of the recruitment examination of Office Assistant conducted by the Department of Education, Government of Manipur in 2021 is not announced by the end of December 2024.Addressing a press conference today at Manipur Press Club, JAC convenor Lokeshor Laishram said that despite numerous appeals by the candidates who had appeared in the written test, the Government & authorities concerned have not given any positive response or assurance till date.

Expressing anguish over the failure of the Government to declare the result of recruitment exam conducted in 2021 even after three years, he pointed out that many candidates have crossed the upper age limit and are not in a position to apply for other posts.

Lokeshor further cautioned that if the Government does not take immediate steps to declare the result by the end of December 2024, the JAC will be compelled to launch a series of strong agitation.
