NAAC team concludes 2-day visit to ACI

Senapati, October 20 2024: A 3-memberNational Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer team on Friday (October 18) concluded its two-day visit to Asufii Christian Institute (ACI) by holding an "Exit Meeting" with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.

The team comprised of Prof Chanda Naik Gari Krishna Naik, Department of Sociology, Sri Krisnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh as Chairperson, Prof Bimal Pande, Professor, Department of Physics, Kumaun University.

Nainital, Uttarakhand as Member Coordinator and Dr Satyendra Nath Barman, Principal, B Borooah College, Guwahati, Assam as Member of the Peer Team.

On the first day, the NAAC team members were welcomed by the students and staff on the Assembly ground.

This was followed by the presentations by the Principal, Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Heads of Departments.

The team engaged in indepth discussions focusing on several key criteria, assessing the effectiveness in curriculum delivery and evaluation process.

The session after was packed with interactions with various stakeholders, including parents, alumni, students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

The day ended with an enriching cultural programme presented by the students.

On the second day, the team inspected the various facilities in the campus, such as the labs, the library, sports facilities, rain water harvesting system, waste management system, gymnasium, cafeteria, classrooms, cultural museum etc.

The "Exit-Meeting" was chaired by Hriini Gilbert Saprii, IQAC Coordinator.

The team handed over a NAAC Report to Dr P Wungnaongam, Principal of ACI .
