Thoubal, April 20 2025: To remembered the valiant heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland during the Anglo-Manipur War of 1891, all necessary preparation and arrangement for the success of this year "Khongjom Day" observance to be held on April 23 at Kheba Ching, Khongjom Memorial Complex have been taken up.

To make the event more grand than ever before, a full dress rehearsal of the Khongjom Day celebration was held today at Khongjom War Memorial Complex attended by Thoubal Deputy Commissioner, Ahanthem Subhash (IAS) along with top officials from the Manipur Police.

The State Level observance of Khongjom Day to be held on April 23 will be attended by Manipur Governor, Ajay Kumar Bhalla as chief guest and Chief Secretary, Prashant Kumar Singh as the functional president.

As part of this year's Khongjom Day celebration, various stalls will be set up within the complex to exhibit various products, especially the handmade products made by the IDPs taking shelter at various relief camps of the State.
