Interactive programme on fighting drug addiction organised

Thoubal, July 10 2024: An interactive programme on the topic 'Fighting drug addiction by constructive engagement of youths' was organised by 165 Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army (Home and Hearth) Assam, popularly known as Manipur Terriers C-coy, Thoubal.

The programme was held at the C-coy camp located at Thoubal Tomjing.

During the interaction programme, Company Commander Major Devankur gave valuable ideas on how to prevent oneself from falling prey to substance abuse by engaging in various constructive and healthy ways.

He motivated the youths to inculcate a disciplined lifestyle and stressed on the importance of setting clear and proper goals in life and working sincerely to pursue those goals.

He also urged the youths to contribute for the betterment of the society in all possible ways.

Today's programme was also attended by members of Super Star Welfare Club Thoubal and students of the region.
