Chhabi Sahayog celebrates 6th Foundation Day & World Cancer Day with Cancer warriors

Imphal, February 04 2025: On the occasion of World Cancer Day and the 6th Foundation Day of Chhabi Sahayog Foundation, a heartfelt event was organized to honor cancer warriors and uplift their spirits through support and care.

The event was organised in collaboration with Dev Desh Pratisthan, Mumbai, and Mon Indigenous Culture and Welfare Society, Arunachal Pradesh.

The foundation conducted a fruit and biscuit distribution drive at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, and Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Imphal.

A total of 115 cancer warriors participated, with 65 patients at RIMS, Imphal, and 50 at Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute, reflecting the foundation's commitment to cancer awareness, patient care, and community support.

Prominent figures such as Prof Dr Yengkhom Indibor Singh, Dr Thangjam Nirpendra, Rajesh Siwakoti, Dr Vivek Arambam, and other esteemed medical professionals joined the initiative, reinforcing the importance of early detection, awareness, and holistic patient care.

Simultaneously, the foundation celebrated this occasion in Assam, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Navi Mumbai, and Pune, ensuring a widespread impact and support for cancer warriors across multiple states Chhabi Sahayog Foundation continues to uphold its mission - "We Provide Fearlessness" - by advocating for cancer awareness and support for marginalized communities.
