Cabinet to discuss committee report today

The report of the high level committee looking into the leaking of the DPC results for the recruitment of primary teachers will be discussed by the Cabinet in its seating scheduled tomorrow at 3 pm at Chief Minister's Secretariat.
A highly reliable source said that the report of the committee headed by chief secretary, DS Poonia looking into the publication of result of the Primary teachers recruitment with alleged concealment by the authority has been included among other agenda to be discussed in the scheduled Cabinet meeting tomorrow.
While publishing the result, mention may be made, Hueiyen Lanpao had exposed that the results were concealed at the last minute.
After publication of the results, candidates who cleared the DPC demanded authentication of the results.
The scheduled cabinet will also discus finding of overlappings in the ongoing Census Operation 2011, amendment of recruitment rules of the Combined Manipur Public Service Commission, waiving of loans taken by former MLA E Kunjeshwor after his death, award of Rs 10 lakh as incentive to fifth time world women boxing champion, MC Mary Kom and setting of up two fast tract courts, the source added.
It may also be mentioned that the Association of DPC Successful has also called a 24-hour general strike which would be effective from 5 am of September 24 till 5 am of next day demanding authentication of the results published in the newspaper.
This matter has been under public scrutiny over the last many months.
