Yaibilen Children Home expresses gratitude

Imphal, December 16 2019: Yaibilen Children Home, Keibi Sanapat has expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the people who extended assistance and provided donations to the home.

A press release issued by president of the home stated that on the first day of December, Nepram Tombi of Thongju part-II, Nepram Leirak provided two bags of rice, one bag of potato and dal, in connection with the 17th death anniversary of her late husband, Nepram Shyamkeshore.

Celebrating their daughter's (Chanu Leishembi Maibam) 5th birthday, Maibam Rohenkumar Meitei and his wife Sangeeta of Kyamgei Awang Leikai donated four blankets, 13 instrument boxes and stationery items on December 2.On the same day, Faith, an association located in the All Manipur Bar Association office, Cheirap Court Complex, presented a bag of rice, edible oil, a carrom board, two cricket balls and a football to the children of the home in connection with the first foundation day of Faith.

During its journey to the home, each member of Faith association (namely Ng Premkumar, Ng Kumar, G Iboyaima Sharma, W Bhumeshore, A Gagjit, Kh Tonjaoba, A Indrakumar, P Manglem, O Amujao and M Gourahari) donated Rs 500 to the home as well, added the statement.

On the other hand, one Thounaojam Dijen and his wife Somila of New Chekkon, to celebrate the first birthday of their daughter Thounaojam Athoibi, presented two bags of rice, potatoes, dal and some edibles to the home on December 7.On the next day, Apunba Tengbang Lup, Nongmeibung presented two plates of eggs and snacks to the children of the home, it said while adding that Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Manipur donated 13 blankets to the home on December 9.Konjengbam Shamungou Meitei and his wife Rina Leima of Wangoo Sanalong Khong Awang Leikai, in celebration of their son's (Konjengbam Wanglen Meitei) 30th birthday, donated 50 kg of rice, two plates of egg, dal, potatoes, stationery items and snacks to the home on December 13.On the next day, in the name of Chahigi Chaklon Irat Thouni Yaipha Thouni of Kongba Uchekkon Ibudhou Pakhangba, Wangam Dabu Sagolsem and others organised a feast for the children of the home apart from presenting dal, fish and 13 jackets (winter clothing).

One Maibam Anish Meitei, s/o Maibam Angou Meitei and Inao of Kongpal Kongkham Leikai, on December 14, donated 50 kg of Meitei rice, 36 socks and stationery items to celebrate his 20th birthday.

On December 15, one Bubli Suba along with her family members donated two bags of rice, fish and toys to the children in the name of her late parents.
