Martyrdom anniversary observed

The martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed CT Noor Mohammad was observed today at the native place of the martyr located at Lilong Leihaokhong Makok in Thoubal district.
A press note by 86 Bn CRPF, Lamphelpat said that on the solemn occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the fallen hero Shaheed CT Noor Mohammad, Commandant-86 Battalion CRPF Mohamand Yusuf visited the residence of the martyr to commemorate his bravery, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the CRPF.
The commemoration ceremony was organized to remember his martyrdom where Shaheed CT Noor Mohammad made supreme sacrifice while performing his duty in Manipur on April 26,1980.'It serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring legacy of courage and sacrifice left behind by our brave hearts', said the press note.
As a part of the programme, a speech was delivered, reflecting on the unparalleled bravery and selflessness exhibited by the martyr where it was stated that his selfless dedication to duty and his supreme sacrifice continue to inspire all, reinforcing the values of duty, honor, and sacrifice that define the CRPF.
The CRPF also presented gifts to the next of kin, as a token of appreciation for the sacrifice made by his loved ones.
'As we commemorate the sacrifices of our martyr, let us reaffirm our pledge to uphold his legacy with honor and dignity.
Let us honor his memory not only in words but also in deeds, by continuing to serve our Nation with the same courage, dedication, and valor exemplified by our fallen comrades', added the press note.
The 86 Bn CRPF also extended their deepest condolences and unwavering support to the family of the martyr, whose strength and resilience continue to inspire all.
