ABVP, Manipur concludes 10th State Conference at CoA, Iroisemba

The 10th State Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur was held from February 15 to 17, 2025, at the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba.
The three-day conference witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 309 delegates from various districts of Manipur, representing diverse communities and academic institutions, said a press release issued by ABVP, Manipur.
The conference provided a dynamic platform for student leaders to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas on crucial issues such as improving the quality of education in Manipur, addressing the State's current socio-political scenario, and combating the challenges posed by climate change.
During the conference, ABVP Manipur adopted significant resolutions aimed at enhancing the educational landscape of the State, promoting social harmony and encouraging environmental sustainability through student-led initiatives.
One of the highlights of the conference was the announcement of the newly elected office bearers for the 2025-2026 term.
Professor Premlata Maisnam was re-elected as the State president and Gautam Philem was re-elected as the State secretary.
The new team of office bearers is as follows: State president: Professor Premlata Maisnam, State vice presidents: Asem Chanu Vellorpati, Professor Aheibam Dinamani and L Kamei, State secretary: Gautam Philem, State joint secretaries: L Rajesh, Pinubala Laishram, Tompok Singh, Lane Domai, State girls in-charge: Dr Rozy Kamei, State treasurer: Deepak Ningombam, State organizing secretary: Bhagwat Singh and State office secretary : Nepolian Singh.
In addition to the announcement of office bearers, the conference also unveiled the new State Working Committee, State Executive Council and various in-charge positions for different activity dimensions within ABVP Manipur.
The formation of these bodies reflects AB VP's commitment to fostering leadership and ensuring effective coordination for the holistic development of students and the State, said the press release.
The 10th State Conference reinforced ABVP Manipur's unwavering dedication to nurturing young minds, addressing the pressing needs of society, and promoting a progressive and self-reliant Manipur.
