Imphal, May 14 2024: As a part of World Environment Day observation on June 5, the Manipur Amateur Photo Club is gearing up to organise a photo competition-cum-exhibition from June 5 to 9.The event will be conducted in partnership with the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Govt of Manipur, said a release issued by Manipur Amateur Photo Club.

The Club has invited interested photographers to submit upto three 18 inch x 12 inch chemical print photographs on the theme "Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resistance" and framed in 3/4 inch black frame.

The first, second and third prize winners will be awarded Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively along with a citation.

The Club has further urged interested candidates to contact the office of Manipur Amateur Photo Club, C/o Lei Nong Photo Studio, Palace Gate, Imphal or reach out to their Facebook page for further details.
