Imphal, December 13 2022: A team of Special Commando Unit, Khabeisoi arrested one cadre of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) identified as Pukhrambam Puninchandra Singh (42) from Takhel Makha Leikai, Imphal East yesterday at around 11.45 am.

P Puninchandra hails from Takhel Makha Leikai Imphal East.

He was arrested after a tipoff about movement of a KYKL cadre in the area by the 4 Assam Rifles, said a police source.

He claims himself as a cadre of KYKL outfit.

He joined the outfit in April 1998 through one Khamba, Lance Corporal of KYKL organization.

He got basic military training at Khoupum Tampak (2nd batch) .

He has revealed that he was working under the command of Chapba Potsangbam, 2nd Lieutenant of KYKL, said the source.

He has been handed over to Lamlai police station for further necessary legal action.
