Skill Development Programme kicks off at Sanjeevani

Imphal, June 12 2024: In a significant step towards empowering the youth of Manipur, Assam Rifles inaugurated a Skill Development Programme on Hospitality and Retail Management on Tuesday.

According to a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the Skill Development Programme was conducted in collaboration with "We Care Skill Solution" with the aim to provide vocational training and employment opportunities to the youth of Manipur.

The opening ceremony, held at Sanjeevani, Imphal, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the selected youth, eager to enhance their skills.

The event began with the felicitation of Brig Ananya Boral, Commandar, HQ 9th Sector Assam Rifles.

Brig Ananya Boral congratulated the participants and encouraged them to make the best use of this 12-week training programme.

Notably, the Skill Development Programme was conducted as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Assam Rifles and We Care Skill Solutions on June 3, 2024.Participants will receive hands-on training and mentorship during the training programme.

They will also receive certificates accredited by the National Skill Development Corporation.

We Care Skill Solution will also facilitate job placements by connecting trainees with reputed organisations from across the country.

The ceremony concluded with an informal interaction between participants, Assam Rifles, and representatives of We Care Skill Solution.
