Pallel GP launched as Adarsh Gram

Kakching, November 09 2022: Lok Sabha MP, Dr Lorho S Pfoze today launched Pallel Gram Panchayat as Adarsh Gram (Model Gram Panchayat) of Kakching district under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) .

The launching programme was organised by the District Administration, Kakching at Pallel Manning Community Hall, Pallel Gram Panchayat, Kakching District.

Dr Lorho S Pfoze and Kakching AC MLA, M Rameshwar Singh also inaugurated a foundation stone of Pallel Model Gram Panchayat under SAGY.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Lorho S Pfoze stated that for successful implementation of a model village under SAGY, active participation of the people is a must.

"They must contribute their good gesture in respect of hospitality, ways of approach, sanitation etc.

Those residing within the model villages should be an example to others", he added.

The MLA also informed that for opening of JNV and KV in Kakching district, he had written a letter to the Ministry concerned and a proposal to establish Kakching District Hospital was also submitted to the Ministry concerned.

DC Kakching, Somorjit Salam urged the people of the area to participate actively in maintaining the status of being a model village in all spheres.

"A Village Development Plan will also be prepared considering the criteria for model village", he asserted.

The programme was attended by M Rameshwar Singh; Md Nazimuddin, Up-Adhyaksha, Kakching Zila Parishad; Somorjit Salam, DC Kakching; Md Mukimuddin, Pradhan, Pallal Gram Panchayat and S Joikumar, Up-Pradhan, Pallel Gram Panchayat as presidium members.

District Level Officers and members of Pallel Gram Panchayat also took part in the historic launching function.
