Workshop on "Development of Sample Questions" begins

Imphal, September 09 2024: A 5-day workshop on "Development of Sample Questions-2024" organised by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) began today at the conference hall of BOSEM in Imphal.

The inaugural function was graced by BOSEM, Chairman, Akham Joykumar; BOSEM, Secretary, S Jitelal Sharma and BOSEM, Examination Controller, Ayam Thoi among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Joykumar said that as per the guidelines of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, BOSEM has started uploading the HSLC marksheets and certificates to DigiLocker to provide students with the convenience of retrieving their marksheets anytime & anywhere.

He continued that BOSEM has implemented the grading system from HSLC 2024 and introduced special examinations tailored for students involved in National & International sports events to bolster sports engagement among students while ensuring uninterrupted academic progress.

He asserted that like CBSE, the board has implemented a mock evaluation system and cross examination system from HSLC Examination 2023 to reduce errors in evaluating students' performances.

"Facilities for online submission of application forms for HSLC examination and enrolment of Class IX & X students has also been provided to students", he added.

The function was also attended by teachers and examiners from across the State including Dr P Iboyaima and M Somorjit.
