Imphal, April 05 2023: NCC cadets extended support to a patient in need of an urgent blood transfusion on April 3, 2023 in Imphal West district.

The patient was admitted to a local hospital and was in urgent need of blood for her treatment.

Her family, while struggling to arrange for the required blood, approached a group of NCC cadets who came forward and donated blood.

The timely contribution of the NCC cadets namely Cdt Malemsana Huirem, Cdt Rapam Hungyo, and Cdt Loukrakpam Almax Meitei of 65 Manipur Girls Battalion and 1 Manipur Air Squadron proved to be a lifesaving measure for the patient, who is now on the path to recovery.

The blood donors spoke about the importance of blood donation and urged all to come forward and donate blood.

They expressed their gratitude towards the hospital staff and the medical team for their efforts in saving the patient's life.

This act of kindness by the NCC Cadets has once again highlighted the importance of community service and the impact it can have on our fellow citizens' life.

It is a reminder that even small gestures can make a big difference in someone's life.
