Imphal, February 05: Pointing an accusing finger at the security forces for the bomb blast that led to the death of three women as well as causing injuries to others yesterday at New Samtal area, the proscribed UNLF said that the deaths were due to the hidden agenda launched by the security forces.

The three women were killed while clearing a road.

In a statement, the outfit alleged that the security personnel have been planting bombs at the areas where they have reached, to paint the UNLF in the wrong light.

Reasoning, the outfit said that when the security force approached and occupied New Samtal, such an incident never occured.

It was only after they left that such an incident has occurred, the outfit alleged and added that this exposes the agenda of the security personnel.

The outfit has also condoled the death of the three women and extended its support to the others injured in the blast.
