Training programme on "Mushroom cultivation technology and food processing" organised

Imphal, January 05 2025: RAMA Foundation in collaboration with REUNION Foundation successfully conducted a training programme on "Mushroom cultivation technology and food processing" at RAM Foundation office in Nagamapal RIMS Road from December 29, 2024 to January 4, 2025 .

According to a release issued by RAMA Foundation, the training programme was conducted with the objective to increase production, empower individuals with valuable skills to improve their quality of life, and help them become self-reliant.

Resource person Soram Rajendra Kumar, a Regional Achiever Awardee delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, disease management, identification of poisonous mushrooms, value-added products such as pickles and dried mushrooms, marketing, and financial assistance.

The training programme concluded with a free health awareness session.

Besides, RAMA Foundation has also informed that it is always ready to impart such training programmes and interested individuals, organisations, SHGs and farmer's clubs may visit the office of the foundation or contact "8787734452" for more details.
