The meeting reviewed the State's law and order situation in the face of the changing dynamics of the Framework Agreement signed between the Government of India and NSCN-IM.
Security measures taken up by the State Government in order to check infiltration from Assam in the back drop of the publication of final draft NRC in the neighbouring State were also studied at the meeting.
The border row between India and Myanmar too figured at the meeting.
Notably, AMUCO, UCM and CCSK have announced that a mass rally would be held on August 18 with regard to the Framework Agreement.
They had also called a State-wide general strike on August 1 on the same issue.
