In connection with the news report of ATSUM volunteers allegedly burning down application forms for various posts under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi on Wednesday, the Caretaker Chairman has clarified that not a single application forms submitted to the office were damaged or burned down.
He said that all application forms submitted by applicants/candidates for various posts under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi were kept safe and secured.
He continued that during the time of form submission, all possible efforts were made by volunteers of ATSUM to damage/capture submitted application forms but due to the alertness of office staff and timely intervention and cooperation of district police, all possible damage/destruction to the actual application forms have been prevented and avoided.
The Caretaker Chairman also said that applicants/candidates may visit the office to check and verify on the matter.
It may mentioned that volunteers of KSO Sadar Hills endorsing the All Tribal Students' Union Manipur decision to halt the ongoing recruitment process of 750 posts in the six Autonomous District Councils of the State had reportedly burned down many documents which they claimed to be the submitted application forms for various posts under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council on September 29 .
