Interaction programmes, workshop conducted

Imphal, August 10 2025: A 1-day workshop on "Beyond Books, The Real World Readiness" was held today at the Sangai Hall of Imphal Hotel.

The workshop was organised by the United for Scholars with PeeDee Lab as the knowledge partner.

The workshop was graced by Dr RK Lenin Singh, mental health activist; Noorshafi AK, Assistant Professor, Thoubal College; Devan Amakcham, Additional SP, Imphal West MPTC; Victor Chingsubam, Japanese Language Expert, Ministry of Health & Labour Welfare, Japan and External Ministry of India, Japan Embassy; Rynna Ngangom, certified corporate trainer, PeeDee Lab; and academician Akoijam Supriya.

As part of the event, an interactive session was also conducted.

Moreover, Egalitarian Manipur of the Altruist (EMA) Trust in collaboration with Thongju Chigonglei Makhong Development Club (TCMDC) organised an interaction programme at Thongju Part-II today.

The programme was attended by students, guardians, parents and sponsors who supported the education for children of those who were killed in the Manipur crisis.

As part of the programme, outstanding sports persons and sponsored students who were successful in this year's Class X & XII examinations were also felicitated.

Retired Colonel Shantikumar Sapam, president of EMA Trust was also present at the event.

Meanwhile, a 1-day discourse on "The Development of School Education in Wangoi AC" was conducted today at the residence of Wangoi AC MLA Kh Loken Singh in Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai.

The discourse was organised by the MLA in collaboration with ZEO, Imphal West-II, Wangoi.

A large number of teachers, headmasters and principals of various schools located within the constituency participated in the event which provided a platform to discuss ways to develop school education in Wangoi AC.

Various issues faced by the schools such as shortage of teachers and adequate infrastructure, and ways to improve teaching quality and increase enrollment of students in the schools were also deliberated.
