Training programme starts

Imphal, June 25 2014:
Under DBT sponsored project, a three-day training programme, jointly organised by AMITY International Centre for PHT & CCM and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Senapati, kick started at KVK campus yesterday.
The training programme is being participated by 40 selected tribal youths belonging to different communities of the district, said a press release.
The training programme was inaugurated by Dr S Saran, Chancellor, Amity University, Gwailior campus in presence of Prof BS Hansra, Amity University Prof RK Ranjan Singh, Ex-Registrar, MU, H Kipgen, President, FEEDS/KVK and Dr N Jyotsna, PC, KVK-Senapati.

Three resource persons from Amity University, Noida Campus Dr Neera Dubey, Dr Vigya Mishra and N Laxmi Raman would share technical sessions with the trainees, added the press release.
Mention may be made that Amity University, Noida Campus has taken up the noble task of spreading education for the first time in Manipur that has begun from Senapati district and would continue to cover all the districts of Manipur.
Amity University is hopeful of setting up of some study centres in Manipur in the near future with the help and cooperation of civil societies, said the press release.
