The outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (MC) has offered revolutionary salute to its cadres who were slain by police commandos on January 16 and 18 at different places.
A KCP (MC) statement issued by its district commander KC Meitei conveying of observing two minutes silence at the party's headquarters this morning also alleged that the cadres were slain after arrest by the commando personnel.
In subsequent meeting attended by president of the KCP (MC) group the alleged extra-judicial action of police commandos figured prominently before a unanimous decision was arrived at on targeting police commandos as KCP (MC) could no longer exercise restrain in the wake of relentless and merciless killings perpetrated by the commandos, the statement added.
Charging EE of PHED, Senapati Division Gambhir of Nambol Phoijing of involvement in the elimination of four KCP (MC) cadres on January 16, KC Meitei asserted that Gambhir would be given capital punishment with similar action to be ordered against anybody found to be conniving with adversary forces.
He also announced that KCP letter heads (89 and 98) seized from the cadres slain on January 18 stands null and void.
