Dr Marjit chosen for Best Paper Award in ICACCT

Dr Moirangthem Marjit Singh has been selected for the Best Paper Award for his paper entitled "Effect of Black Hole Attack on MANET Reliability in DSR Routing Protocol" which was presented during 10th International Conference on Advanced Computing & Communication Technologies 2016 (ICACCT 2016) conference held at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Haryana from November 18 to 20 .
His paper was adjudged by the jury for the Best Paper Award for the 10th ICACCT 2016 conference.
The award will be presented to him at the inaugural ceremony of the 11th ICACCT 2018 to be held on February 17 at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Panipat.
Earlier, Dr Marjit was awarded the prestigious "IEI Young Engineers Award 2014-2015" in Computer Engineering Discipline by The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), in recognition of the contributions made by him in the field of computer engineering.
He was also listed in the 30th edition of the Marquis Who's Who in the World 2013 New Jersey USA.
Dr Marjit Singh did his schooling at JNV Thoubal.
He secured 1 st and 2nd positions in Class X and XII examinations amongst the candidates of JNVs of eight North East States under CBSE New Delhi, in 1995 and 1997 respectively.
He received BTech and MTech in Computer Science & Engineering degrees from NERIST and was awarded Gold Medal for securing top position in MTech.
He received his PhD (Engineering) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Kalyani, West Bengal.
Dr Marjit is the son of Khomei Singh and Pujari of Khangabok Cherapur Leikai and he is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh.
