72nd Hiroshima Day observed

Imphal, August 06 2017:
The 72nd Hiroshima Day was observed by Manipur University Nihongo Alumni Association (MUNAA) today at the Manipur University Guest House .
Speaking as chief guest of the function, Vice- Chancellor, Prof.Adya Prasad Pandey of MU stated that Hiroshima and Nagasakhi the two cities were badly affected during the 2nd World War .
The entire International community were shocked and condemned the use of nuclear weapons against these two cities .
Society is consists of both peace and anger but anger should not continue for longer time which leads violence and destruction of human life, he said .
He also expressed that violence only is not the solution of any problem and history has ample evidence in this regard.
Human life is very precious and protection of every human life is the responsibility of the International community and humanity should be given utmost respect .
Every problem has its own solutions and problems can be solved through peaceful manner, discussion and interaction, he observed .
He urged the gathering to give a message through today's programme that human society should exist with peace and harmony .
The function was also attended by Nongmaithem Noren, president of MUNAA as president and Aribam BrajaKumar Sharma, retired lecturer of DM College of science as guest of honour.
