CPI Thoubal District Council holds 14th District Conference

Thoubal, April 27 2025: The Communist Party of India, Thoubal District Council held its 14th Thoubal District Conference today at Sofia English School Hall, Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha.

The conference was participated by key members of 4 Local Councils of Kakching District and 6 Local Councils of Thoubal District.

The inaugural of the Conference was attended by Control Commission CPI/MSC former Chairman, Y Dhananjoy, Ex-Minister Th Tomba, National Control Commissioner CPI, Member and Ex-Minister, Dr M Nara, Control Commission CPI/MSC Member, B Nabakishwar Shanna and CPI/MSC Asst Secretary, M Joykumar as presidium members.

The conference began with the hoisting of the party flag by Control Commission CPI/MSC, Chairman Y Dhananjoy and observed a two-minute silence to pay respect to the late comrades.

During the conference, the political and organisation reports were presented and deliberated by the members and the new office bearers and executive members of the District Council were also elected.

The conference also resolved to safeguard the territorial integrity of Manipur, to fight the coming election with full revolutionary spirit, to oppose separate administration demands of the Kukis, and to oppose the Government's wrong policies.
