"Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders Day" held across State

Jbm/Kjm/Kak/Kpi/Non/Phz/Tpl, December 15 2022: District Administration Jiribam today organised the "6th Meeyamgi Numit" at Chingdong Leikai, DC Complex Jiribam.

It was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Jameson Hangshing; SDPO Jiribam, T Inaobi Singh; Ngasepam Kiran Kumar Singh, DGM, MSPDCL; M Devananda Singh, SDC Borobekra and other District Level officers of various departments.

Altogether 19 departments including Health, Social Welfare, Fishery, Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Agriculture, Sericulture, MSPDCL, PWD, CAF & PD and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry opened their stalls to deliver public services and address grievances.

About 121 applications of various issues pertaining to issuance of OBC certificates, Income Certificates, Domicile Certificates and land records, etc were received.

KAMJONG
District Administration Kamjong also observed District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at Sadbhavna Mandap, Kasom Khullen Town.

DC Kamjong, Rangnamei Rang Peter; Superintendent of Police, P Manjit and other DLOs of various departments took part in the event.

DLOs opened their mobile stalls to cater to the various demands and grievances of the public.

Kakching
District Administration Kakching also observed "Meeyamgi Numit" at DC Office Complex, Kakching.

Altogether, 29 departments opened their stalls to deliver public services and address public grievances.

DLOs on the spot organised facilitation centres for beneficiary oriented schemes.

KANGPOKPI
District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit was also organised today at Keithelmanbi Community Hall, Champhai Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district.

During the event, DC Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla directed all the DLOs to guide the public and dispose of their grievances at the earliest.

She also interacted and heard the grievances of the public.

It was attended by Amrita Sinha, SP Kangpokpi; Derick L Khobung, ADC/ADM Kangpokpi; James Doujapao Haokip, CEO/SHADC; SDOs and DLOs among others.

Noney
District Administration Noney also organised District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at Multipurpose Hall, Longmai III, Noney district.

About 15 stalls were opened by different Government departments at the event.

DC Noney, Joseph Pauline Kamson distributed materials to the staff of the Education Department.

Covid vaccination stalls and one-stop centres were also opened keeping in view the medical needs of the people.

PHERZAWL
District Administration Pherzawl also organised District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at the DC Office Complex in Pherzawl Headquarter.

SP Pherzawl, A Ghaneshyam Sharma; I Dinesh Kumar Singh, SDO Tipaimukh and other DLOs led by the DC ensured accountability for effective services delivery.

DC Pherzawl, Haulianlal Guite heard the grievances of the public.

He also distributed water pump sets, mustard seeds & pesticides, books and school uniforms to selected beneficiaries.

Moreover, Food Safety Administration, Pherzawl under the guidance of Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) observed the Eat Right Walkathon cum Mela at the DC Office Complex in Pherzawl HQ.

The Walkathon went from the Entry Point of Pherzawl village to Forest Office Junction.

As part of the event, 9 stalls displaying organic products were opened.

TENGNOUPAL
District Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit was also held at the Conference Hall of DC Tengnoupal.

Superintendent of Police, B Goulianmang chaired the meeting in the absence of Ranjan Yumnam who is on leave.

The meeting was attended by village chiefs, CSO leaders and DLOs.

A total of 24 Departments open stalls to assist and distribute beneficial schemes to the public.

DLOs and officials of all the line Departments of the district interacted and assisted the public on how to avail the beneficiary schemes.
