Imphal, July 10 2024: A new healthcare facility called the Edge Life, Healthcare and Hygiene Institute was opened today at Singjamei Sougrakpam Leikai.

The healthcare facility was formally opened by Prof Ch Ibohal Meitei, Head, Department of MIMS, Manipur University.

Speaking on the occasion, Edge Life, Healthcare and Hygiene Institute founder member Okram Romita said that the newly opened healthcare facility will function on the motto of "Free free medicine, affordable treatment, best cure and timely prevention" .

She continued that the Edge Life, Healthcare and Hygiene Institute was established with the aim to help address the shortage in the healthcare sector of the State.

She also shared that the facility will provide healthcare services at affordable prices to the public and the OPD charge will be only Rs 100 .

"Moreover, a person may obtain a membership card of Edge Life, Healthcare and Hygiene Institute at just Rs 500 to avail free medical benefits for 6 months at the institute", asserted Romita.
